HAMILTON, N.Y. (AP) — C.J. McCollum scored 32 points to lead Lehigh to a 78-56 Patriot League victory over Colgate on Saturday.

The junior guard made 7 of 12 shots from 3-point range for the Mountain Hawks (14-5, 2-1) as he surpassed 30 points for the fifth time this season.

Four of McCollum's 3s came during a 22-3 run at the end of the first half by Lehigh that turned a 24-15 Raiders lead into a 37-27 Mountain Hawks advantage.

Lehigh used a 12-3 offensive rebounding edge to score 17 second-chance points to none for Colgate (5-12, 0-3).

Mackey McKnight scored 12 points for Lehigh, making 6 of 7 shots, and had seven assists, and John Adams also scored 12 points.

Brandon James led Colgate with 20 points, including four 3-pointers in the first 6 minutes, when the Raiders took a 16-7 lead. He finished 6 of 7 on 3-pointers.
