WHITEFISH, Mont. (AP) — Athletes from the University of Great Falls and Lewis-Clark State have been named the Frontier Conference basketball players of the week.

UGF forward James Holmes won the men's award. The senior from Las Vegas averaged 15 points, 4.5 rebounds, 1.5 blocked shots and one steal in a 64-59 win over third-ranked Lewis-Clark State and a 62-58 win over Montana Tech. The win over L-C State was the Argos second win over a nationally ranked opponent in three games.

Ornela Bacchini of Lewis-Clark State won the women's award. He junior from Argentina averaged 23.5 points, seven rebounds, 1.5 blocked shots, 1.5 assists and 1.5 steals as the Warriors beat Montana State-Northern 78-76 in double overtime and beat UGF 75-65.
