ROCHESTER, Mich. (AP) — Travis Bader scored 30 points, including 23 in the second half, to help Oakland pull away for an 81-68 victory over UMKC on Thursday night. Oakland (8-12, 3-3 Summit) increased its home winning streak to 10 games. Bader converted 5 of 11 attempts from 3-point range, including 4 of 9 in the second half. He was a perfect 9-of-9 from the free-throw line, all in the second half. Oakland eased in front after a 33-33 halftime tie, but UMKC (5-14, 2-5) was within 70-65 with 2:31 left in the game. Two free throws by Drew Valentine at the 2:05 mark and a three-point play by Bader at 1:22 increased the margin to 75-65. Valentine scored 19 points and Corey Petros had 16 points and 10 rebounds. Estan Tucker scored 20 points for UMKC, including four 3-pointers.
