RENO, Nev. (AP) — Richard Carter scored 16 points, leading five Drake players in double-figures, as the Bulldogs beat Nevada 76-66 on Friday night. Carter, who was 6 of 12 from the field, also led the team in rebounds with seven. Jordan Clarke had 15 points and six rebounds. Seth VanDeest had 14 points. Jeremy Jeffers, who was 3 of 3 from 3-point range, and Ben Simons added 11 points apiece for the Bulldogs (3-3). The team shot 44.6 percent from the field for the game. The game was tied at 20 at 9:24 in the first half, but Drake pulled away, leading 45-39 at halftime. The Bulldogs would keep the lead. Malik Story scored 19 points to lead the Wolf Pack (4-3). Deonte Burton had 12 points. Jordan Burris grabbed six rebounds. The Wolf Pack shot 41 percent from the field for the game, with 15 turnovers.
