LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) — In its first season under coach Larry Eustachy, Colorado State will open the NCAA tournament Thursday against Missouri.

The Rams (25-8) got an at-large bid after finishing second in the Mountain West and losing in the conference tournament semifinals to UNLV. They'll face Missouri (23-10) at Rupp Arena in Lexington, Ky.

The Tigers lost in the quarterfinals of the SEC tournament in their first season in the conference, after having a perfect record at home but struggling on the road.

Missouri was upset in its NCAA tournament opener last season as a No. 2 seed.
