SAN LUIS OBISPO, Calif. (AP) — Chris Eversley scored 19 points, sparking Cal Poly to an 88-59 victory over Hawaii on Thursday night. Cal Poly (8-9, 4-3 Big West) went on a 14-0 run early in the game to take control. Cal Poly snapped a three-game losing streak, and defeated a conference opponent at home for the eighth straight time. Brian Bennett scored 17 points and grabbed nine rebounds for Cal Poly, which had a 38-21 advantage on the glass. Reese Morgan scored 16 points, including 4 of 8 shots from 3-point range, and Drake U'u scored 14. Christian Standhardinger and Isaac Fotu scored 14 points each to lead Hawaii (10-9, 4-4). Brandon Jawato added 12 points.
