CAMBRIDGE, Mass. (AP) — Laurent Rivard and Wesley Saunders scored 21 points each and Harvard shot 64.6 percent from the field in a 92-62 nonconference victory over Rice on Saturday. The victory was the 100th for coach Tommy Amaker against 61 losses in his six seasons at Harvard. His overall record is 276-200 in 16 seasons. The Crimson (8-5) shot better than 60 percent in each half and made 31 of 48 shots in the game. Their 92 points were their most since a 92-71 win at Seattle on Jan. 2, 2010. Rivard shot 5-for-7 from 3-point range and the Crimson were 8-for-15 (53.3 percent) overall behind the arc. They were tied for fifth nationally in 3-point shooting at 41.4 percent entering the game. Freshman guard Siyani Chambers handed out 10 assists to go with 14 points for Harvard for his first career double-double. Max Guercy paced the Owls (3-10) with 19 points.
