SAN JOSE, Calif. (AP) — James Kinney had 26 points and seven rebounds to lead San Jose State to a 76-71 win over Seattle on Saturday night.

Louis Garrett had a season-high 21 points, and Chris Cunningham added 15. D.J. Brown had 11 assists for San Jose State (8-6, 3-1 Western Athletics).

San Jose State led 29-28 at halftime and shot 43 percent from the field for the game. Seattle (5-8, 0-3) shot 34 percent, but outrebounded the Spartans 39-35.

Chad Rasmussen led the Redhawks with 15 points. Louis Green had 14 points and nine rebounds. Luiz Bidart added 12 points, and Prince Obasi had six assists.
