Oregon and Gonzaga players got a surprise pep talk from an NBA great after arriving in Arizona for the Final Four.
Former Los Angeles Lakers star Kobe Bryant spoke to players from both teams Wednesday night ahead of their national semifinal games on Saturday.
Oregon and Gonzaga are both Nike schools and Bryant was one of the brands biggest names during his career.
"That was crazy," Gonzaga's Jordan Mathews said. "We were all really excited when he came in. He gave us some gifts, it was special."
Bryant's message: "Be killers," Mathews said. "Don't give anybody anything. Be a killer."
