LAS CRUCES, N.M. (AP) — Renaldo Dixon scored 12 points off the bench and Bandja Sy added 10 to lead New Mexico State to a 67-37 victory against Northern New Mexico in a 2K Sports Classic game on Wednesday night.

All but one of the 12 players who saw action for the Aggies (2-3) scored. New Mexico State enjoyed a 51-25 rebounding advantage and outscored Northern New Mexico 44-4 in the paint.

Rodney Coles had eight points to lead the Eagles (3-9), a NAIA squad.

Northern New Mexico shot just 25 percent (13 of 52) from the floor.
