Money, it’s got to be the shoes.
Michigan guard Muhammad-Ali Abdur-Rahkman has given the Wolverines’ white, maize-and-blue look a flash of style during the team’s run to the NCAA Tournament.
Abdur-Rahkman was forced to wear a pair of pink Air Jordan 31’s because they were the only shoes available after the team’s plane slid off the runway on its way to the Big Ten tournament last week. When the Wolverines ripped off four wins to claim the championship and earn a seventh-seed in the Big Dance, Abdur-Rahkman brought his colorful kicks with him.

Abdur-Rahkman was feeling it Friday against 10th-seeded Oklahoma State. He poured in 11 points - two more than his season average - as the Wolverines took a narrow 41-40 lead at the break and tied a season high with 16 points as Michigan advanced to the second round on Sunday.
