KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee coach Cuonzo Martin isn't ruling out the possibility of redshirting forward Jeronne Maymon, who hasn't played since having a preseason setback in his recovery from arthroscopic knee surgery. Martin said Thursday he would sit down with Maymon as well as his family and team doctors to go over all the options available to the 6-foot-7 senior. Martin said Maymon "is a coachable guy who wants to do what's best for the team." When he announced Maymon's setback before the season, Martin said it wouldn't knock him out for the entire year. But as the Volunteers (6-3) play their 10th game Friday against Western Carolina, Maymon still doesn't appear close to returning. Maymon averaged 12.7 points and 8.1 rebounds last season to earn second-team all-Southeastern Conference honors.
