(AP) — Ben Aird scored 25 points and Jason Johnson added 18 as Utah Valley overcame a double-digit second-half deficit to beat Eastern Washington 86-83 in a CBE Hall of Fame Classic game on Tuesday night. Each team had five players score in double figures. Alfonzo Hubbard added 16 points, Nick Thompson 11 and Antoine Hosley 10 for the Wolverines (3-2), who utilized a 31-9 run during an 8:57 stretch of the second half to turn a 10-point hole into a 66-54 cushion. The Eagles (0-4) never led the rest of the way, but they didn't go quietly, rallying to within three points in the final minute, and Justin Crosgile's 3-pointer at the buzzer missed. Venky Jois scored 16 points, Martin Seiferth 14 and Crosgile, Jeffrey Forbes and Collin Chiverton 13 each for Eastern Washington.
