Tom Withers has been an AP Sports Writer since 1994. After spending four years in New York as a national baseball writer, he transferred to Cleveland, where he's responsible for covering the Browns, Indians, Cavaliers, Division I basketball programs Kent State, Cleveland and Akron, the Mid-American Conference and more. He has been to five men's Final Fours, two women's Final Fours and is scheduled to cover his eighth Olympics in 2012.
