TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Fifth-ranked Duke visits defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion Florida State in need of a win to stay within striking distance of league-leading Miami.

The young, unpredictable Seminoles (12-8, 4-3 ACC) have been living on the edge recently as they head into Saturday's game against the Blue Devils. Florida State has won two games in the last nine days on Michael Snaer's buzzer-beating, game-winning shots. The Seminoles have yet to defeat a ranked team this season.

Duke (18-2, 5-2) is tied with Virginia in the league standings, two games behind the conference-leading Hurricanes, who are ranked 14th nationally and 7-0 in conference play.

Florida State has won three of the last four games against Duke and defeated the Blue Devils three times over the years when they were ranked first nationally.
