NEW YORK (AP) — Andrew Nicholson scored 30 points to lead St. Bonaventure over Fordham 89-63 on Wednesday night. The Bonnies (15-10, 8-5 Atlantic 10 Conference) shot over 60 percent in both halves, making 18 of 28 from the field in the first half. St. Bonaventure outscored the Rams 43-28 in the first half, before getting 20 points, on 6-of-7 shooting, from Nicholson in the second. The Bonnies opened the second half on a 10-3 run and stretched their lead to as many as 31, 87-56, with 3:42 remaining. Da'Quan Cook added 16 points, Demetrius Conger had 13 and Matthew Wright 10 for St. Bonaventure, which scored 32 points in the paint and made 7 of 11 from 3-point range. Fordham (9-17, 2-11) was led by Chris Gaston with 18 points off the bench. Devon McMillan chipped in 11 points for the Rams, who lost their sixth straight.
