Ohio State has a new rallying cry: ELE.

No, it's not the name of a ram or one of Santa's elves.

It stands for Everybody Love Everybody, and the whole team is buying into it.

"We have a term, E.L.E. _ Everybody Love Everybody," Ohio State sophomore guard Lenzelle Smith Jr. said. "And we're seeing a lot of love right now."

The Buckeyes weren't feeling a whole lot of love back in February, when they were disjointed, losing and pointing fingers.

The players wouldn't say when the phrase was first used or where it came from _ Will Ferrell's SemiPro, maybe? _ but it has caught on and doesn't appear to be going anywhere anytime soon.

"I don't want to say guys didn't like each other, but we weren't connected," Smith said. "I don't know if it was off-the-court things, that we didn't hang out as much, but right now, none of that matters. Everyone is looking out for one another and we're coming together as a family."

And Everybody Love Everybody.
