Jeff Latzke has been a Sports Writer for The Associated Press since 2004. Latzke has covered the NBA Rookie of the Year seasons for Kevin Durant and Chris Paul and the Oklahoma City Thunder's run to the 2011 Western Conference finals. He also chronicled the college careers of national players of the year Blake Griffin and Courtney Paris at Oklahoma. Latzke also is a college football writer for the AP, covering two appearances by Oklahoma in the national championship game and Oklahoma State's recent rise to national prominence. While in Oklahoma, he has also covered the WNBA, the Women's College World Series, the U.S. Olympic softball team.
