GENEVA, N.Y. (AP) — The wife of a former Syracuse University assistant basketball coach accused of molesting ball boys may file a lawsuit in connection with the claims.

Laurie Fine is scheduled to speak out Wednesday in Geneva, N.Y., about what her lawyer calls false accusations and scandalous lies.

Lawrence Fisher says the only reasons Fine would hire a lawyer are because she's being sued or is going to sue somebody else. He says she is not being sued.

Two men have claimed they were molested by coach Bernie Fine decades ago. In a taped 2002 phone call between accuser Bobby Davis and Laurie Fine, she tells Davis she knew "everything that went on."

Davis also said Laurie Fine may have had sex with players.

Bernie Fine has denied wrongdoing and hasn't been charged.
