HANOVER, N.H. (AP) — Patrick Saunders scored 14 points and 10 other Princeton players scored, and the Tigers pulled away easily with an 85-61 win over Dartmouth on Saturday night. Ian Hummer and Brendan Connolly each scored 11 points for the Tigers (16-11, 7-4 Ivy League), who have won five of their last six games. Denton Koon pitched in with 10 points. Princeton took control in the first half, taking a 31-19 lead at the 5:49 mark on a 3-pointer by Douglas Davis, who had nine points and three steals. The Tigers went into halftime with a 40-24 advantage. In the second half, Princeton kept its surge going. The Tigers increased their lead to 29 points — their largest of the game — when Mack Darrow knocked down a 3-pointer with 13:25 remaining. John Golden scored 21 points for the Big Green (5-23, 1-11), who have lost 10 of their last 11 games.
