TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (AP) — Florida State's red-hot basketball team is on the verge of doing something it's never done in 20 previous seasons as a member of the Atlantic Coast Conference. The 21st-ranked Seminoles (15-6, 6-1, are gunning for a school-record seventh straight ACC win Saturday when they host No. 16 Virginia (17-3, 4-2) on Saturday. The Cavaliers three losses this season are by a total of seven points and they feature one of the league's top performers in senior Mike Scott. The Seminoles are also after their sixth straight win over Virginia, which hasn't won in the series since the 2007 and has gone 11 years since its last win in Tallahassee. Florida State visits Boston College on Wednesday before returning home for a two-game home stand starting with Miami on Feb. 11.
