SALT LAKE CITY (AP) — Devon Daniels and JoJo Zamora are no longer members of the Utah basketball team.

Coach Larry Krystkowiak said in a statement Friday that the two guards won't be with the team next season, saying "certain responsibilities and expectations" are "critical" to being in the program.

Daniels started 26 games before being suspended indefinitely for conduct detrimental to the team. The suspension lasted three games and the freshman played the final two games of the season. He averaged 9.9 points and 4.6 rebounds and his 78 assists were the second most on the team. Daniels' 40.0 3-point percentage was a team high among those with more than 17 attempts.

Zamora started 20 games, averaged 6.9 points and shot 36.0 percent from 3-point range. He spent one season with the Utes and played in all 32 games.
