ANNAPOLIS, Md. (AP) — Mitch Rolls scored 13 points and made a 3-pointer with 1 second to play to lift Colgate to a 59-57 win over Navy on Saturday night. Rolls hit two free throws to give the Raiders a 55-49 lead with 1:48 to play. However, Navy rallied with an 8-1 run and grabbed a 57-56 lead after a layup by Isaiah Roberts with 8 seconds to go. It was the 19th straight loss for Navy. Mike Venezia added 11 points for the Raiders (8-19, 2-10 Ivy League), who snapped a four-game losing streak. Colgate shot a season-high 58.6 percent (17 of 29) from the field and made at least 50 percent mark for the eighth time this year. The Raiders were 6 of 10 from 3-point range and Venezia made all three of his long-range attempts. Jordan Sugars scored 20 points and Roberts added 18 for the Midshipmen (3-23, 0-12).
