ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) — Kyle Downey had 28 points and five assists and OD Anosike tallied a double-double to lead Siena over Canisius 86-75 on Sunday in the regular-season finale for both teams. The Saints (13-16, 8-10 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference) dominated inside, outrebounding Canisius 45-29 and outscoring the Golden Griffins 40-28 in the paint. Anosike had 16 points to go with his 16 rebounds for Siena, which swept the season series after beating Canisius 60-50 on Feb. 11. The Saints held Canisius to 30.3-percent shooting in the first half (10 of 33) and led 46-29 at halftime. They then opened the second half on an 8-3 run and led by double digits throughout most of the rest of the way. Kyle Downey's free throws put Siena up 54-32 with 17:12 remaining. The Golden Griffins (5-24, 1-17) were led by Harold Washington with 27 points and Alshwan Hymes with 19.
