LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) — Wyoming coach Larry Shyatt says his players didn't initially tell him of serious details of a fight outside a Laramie bar. Police say starting guard Luke Martinez kicked an unconscious man during the fight. Martinez is charged with aggravated assault. The fight occurred around 2:30 a.m. Dec. 30. Martinez was arrested last Sunday and then suspended from the team. Between the fight and his suspension, Martinez accompanied the team for its games but didn't play because of a broken bone in his shooting hand suffered in the fight. During a news conference Thursday, Shyatt says when he initially asked Martinez and two other players at the fight what happened no one provided much detail or said anything about Martinez kicking a man. He had the three perform community service.
