BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. (AP) — Al'Lonzo Coleman scored a career-high 30 points and grabbed 14 rebounds as Presbyterian held off Gardner-Webb 68-62 Saturday night in its final game of the season. The Blue Hose (14-15, 8-10 Big South Conference) are in transition to Division I and not eligible for the league tournament. After Presbyterian went up 38-30, the Runnin' Bulldogs (12-19, 6-12) tied it at 43. The game was knotted twice more before Gardner-Webb took its final lead at 51-50 with 5:59 left. The Blue Hose answered with a 10-2 run, with Coleman scoring six straight. Laron Buggs' 3-pointer made it 64-62 with 1:01 remaining, but he missed a pair of potentially tying free throws with 22 seconds left. Gardner-Webb's Kevin Hartley rebounded, then Eric Washington stole the ball and dunked. Coleman got a steal on the next possession, hitting two free throws with 7 seconds left Buggs' 19 points led the Runnin' Bulldogs.
