WHITEFISH, Mont. (AP) — Athletes from Rocky Mountain College and Westminster College are the Frontier Conference basketball players of the week.

Rocky forward Joel Barndt won the men's award. The 6-foot-9 junior from Billings averaged 23.5 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 1.5 steals as Rocky posted two wins over the University of Calgary, by scores of 82-72 and 103-77.

Westminster forward Kelsi Wells won the women's award. The junior from Grantsville, Utah, averaged 14.5 points and three rebounds per game in helping fifth-ranked Westminster post two wins. Westminster downed No. 4 Westmont 62-29 and beat San Diego Christian 60-40.
