TULSA, Okla. (AP) — New University of Tulsa basketball coach Danny Manning has named three assistants to his coaching staff. The school announced Thursday that Manning has hired Baker University head coach Brett Ballard and Missouri State assistant coach Steve Woodberry as assistant coaches. University of San Francisco assistant coach Justin Bauman was named director of basketball operations. Ballard and Woodberry are both former Kansas basketball players and all three served on the KU staff in various roles. Manning is a former KU player who spent the past nine season there as an assistant coach before being hired earlier this month following the firing of Doug Wojcik after seven seasons at TU.
