President Obama, the Norfolk State Spartans request that you give them a call.
After the No. 15 Spartans upset Missouri 86-84 Friday afternoon, Rodney McCauley pointed out that Obama didn't even mention Norfolk State’s name when he picked the Tigers to advance to the Final Four.
"What's funny, we all said we were going to prove him wrong, and we really expect that call," McCauley said. "We really expect it. We would love that call."
Marcus Tamares said he and his roommate, Jamel Fuentes, had been talking about Obama's pick all week.
"We wanted to mess up his bracket," Tamares said.
Tamares paused and added: "I still like President Obama. I don't want problems with the commander-in-chief."
