PHILADELPHIA (AP) — Bryce Aiken had 25 points and coach Tommy Amaker earned his 400th career victory as Harvard defeated Penn 75-68 in overtime on Saturday night.
Aiken nailed a 3-pointer to tie it with five seconds left in regulation and the Crimson opened the overtime period on a 10-2 run.
Justin Bassey had 19 points and 11 rebounds for Harvard (13-8, 6-2 Ivy League). Noah Kirkwood added 14 points and six rebounds. Chris Lewis had 12 points and three blocks for the visitors.
AJ Brodeur had 23 points for the Quakers (15-9, 3-5). Devon Goodman added 22 points. Antonio Woods had 10 points and eight rebounds.
Harvard plays Brown on the road on Friday. Penn takes on Columbia at home on Friday.
