It's another big week for college hoops in the Big Apple.

The ACC Tournament began on Tuesday at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn. Notre Dame and Syracuse had opening-round wins to keep their NCAA Tournament hopes alive.

Syracuse beat Wake Forest to move on to face sixth-seeded North Carolina on Wednesday night. As for Notre Dame ... 

 

The Big East Tournament tips off on Wednesday at Madison Square Garden, beginning with a matchup between St. John's and Georgetown that recalls the conference's glory days in the 1980s.
