CHICAGO (AP) — Rob Whitfield hit five 3-pointers and scored 21 points as Missouri-Kansas City beat Chicago State 69-51 on Saturday.

Jordan Giles scored 12 points for UMKC (12-11, 4-4 Western Athletic Conference), which won its third straight, Josiah Allick added 10 points and Javan White had eight rebounds.
