Emotions can run high in both locker rooms after an NCAA Tournament game.
Winners move on. Seasons close for losing teams, and careers end for seniors.

Michigan State coach Tom Izzo got choked up while talking about star guard Denzel Valentine after Middle Tennessee State's stunning 90-81 victory over the Spartans on Friday:

Valentine had one of the best seasons, and careers, in Michigan State basketball history, but his last game, though, is one that will haunt him forever.
"That's probably one of the worst games we played all year, and it happened to be in the first round," Valentine said. "You can't have that if you want to win championships."
